ALLERSTON ANNUAL MEETING

 

Minutes for the meeting of Allerston Meeting on Thursday 2^nd March 2023 at 7.15pm in Allerston Village Hall.

PRESENT: Cllrs D Hunter (Chair), D Briston, K Stead, G Blunt, A Hall, S Muir, R Davies, Mrs P Cox (Clerk) and Mrs Lesley Myers

Members of the Public: 2 present

7:15pm start

 

1.   Election of Chairman – Cllr. Hunter was elected by Cllr. Blunt and seconded by Cllr. Briston

 

2.   Apologies – Cllr. Read

 

3.   Open Forum ­– A resident approached Cllr. Briston previous to the meeting to raise the issue of overhanging trees at Millennium Corner which is making wagon turning dangerous. Cllr. Stead to look at the issue.

 

4.   Minutes of the Annual Meeting held on Thursday 3^rd March 2022 –
Agreed and signed by Cllr. Hunter

 

5.   Allerston to Wilton footpath (on Parish Council agenda)

 

6.   Allerston Water

6.1 Annual Water Account. The councillors unanimously approved the water supply leaflet.
6.2To confirm water rate of 2023/24. The councillors confirmed that the water rate will stay at £110, with a £10 discount if paid before 31^st May.
